- Cathy Parvin trained initially as a Registered General Nurse and then specialised in Orthopaedic Nursing
- Trained and mentored by the Dyspraxia Foundation for the role of W.Midlands Education Officer. She was an advisor on the Dyspraxia Foundation Educational Panel for several years
- Set up Dyspraxia Help in 2013
- Has delivered over 300 training sessions in many schools, colleges, universities and other settings
- Delivered lectures at international SEN conferences in Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris
- Trainer and committee member for the National Handwriting Association for 5 years
- Has delivered CPD training on behalf of Worcestershire County Council for their Early Years Programme
- Is a visiting lecturer for SENDCO Award, PGCE and BA courses, Sport and PE degree courses at Worcester University
- Presented several times at the T.E.S SEN Show London, The Education Show Birmingham and is a frequent keynote speaker/trainer at SENDCO Conferences
- Cathy ensures she is up to date with recent research and developments by attending numerous courses, study days, conferences, reading endless books and research articles
- Cathy regards her daughter, who has dyspraxia as her greatest teacher and inspiration
